well my made game in blender, atm i recorded level 4.
notes!!: the sound is really much better, just a recording problem.
i haven't composed the music for this level yet, but i will show up other levels soon, too. (atm 1st,2nd and 3rd levels are done).
the game can be played on full screen, too, but i didn't do that for recording.
and soon i'll put the link where to download some demo-s, beta-s or whatever...http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=cbdbe4fd7d10eea8ab1eab3e9fa335ca31fa4b8a3c841584 --- DOWNLOAD. don't notice these lives and score bugs. small window version (640x480).
and plz comment! thanks!

  • wich box? the mines pack has an ipo (scale) and ridgid body enabeled, wooden boxes are just ridgid bodies with an y axis location constraint

  • that... was..... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

  • It looks more to Little Big Planet than to Super Mario....

  • Nice !=D i cant load my python script when i do save it as runtime:P

can you tell me how to run my python script and run the game when i did export it as runtime

  • nice one

  • @NinZine As long as you're familiar with the Blender interface already, know your way around python, and opengl/glsl shading language you can do an immense amount pretty quickly. If not, you might be better of with UDK engine and DX for prototyping. Also the Blender 2.5 API is unstable until later this year because of updating, and most of the old community 2.4# python scripts are covered in deprecated code so you'll have to re-write some of it if you want to use some it.

  • hey this is nice :) can you check my super mario 3D clone too? It's something not made with blender but with other engine and kenny from southpark is there. You can find it in my videos :) on my channel 5/5 bro!

  • Pretty neat! I am currently looking into Blender as an prototyping tool for 2.5D games. Do you have an opinion about that?

  • It sucks and I'm tryin'. You'll have to give me a few months though. Hard to learn one language, let alone how to work four different programs for one purpose .

  • Ki bosta!!
