There is no "right" way to play Halo. The end objective is to WIN. We do play how the game is supposed to be played. We don't get kills by hiding, right? We have to SLAY in slayer. Or, much more simpler. Learn the time it takes for the drainer to explode. Throw it, count those seconds down, and jump exactly when the drainer explodes. Simples.
