Episode Four (Part One): "Heavy in Your Arms"

Notes/Spoilers/Suchlike (TL;DR Beware):

- I do accept "where did you get this" comments AS LONG AS THEY'RE SPECIFIC. Like, "where did you get Elias' jacket at 5:46," and my answer would be, "I made it." I will not answer "where do you get your CC/how do you make your sims," as quite honestly, I can't answer that.

- I tried fucking hard with the extras on this one. I know the skins look weird but THERE'S NO WAY AROUND IT. BLAHHH. My defaults borked and every time I take them out . . . they don't /go/ off of the sims that use default skintones. D: I don't even know. :/

- Miss Primrose is played by a man. The bloopers? HILARIOUS.

- Amy's mother is cheating, OFC that is not Amy's dad. LOL.

- TS3 is used in the bus scene.

- Shows used? Degrassi, It's Just High School by 1sadface, and CTV News Channel 9 (bleck, I hate that news station! Hence me giving it to Nicole, LOL.)

- Music used? Oh hell no. Like I keep track of that. Open up Google, find a spot in the song with lyrics that you can hear, and type what you hear into Google. Hit enter. :D

- If you look closely in the library scene, you can see Tessa in the background.

- West Forester Pigeons. LOL. Their sports team was the Gutter Mutts. I legit went to a school in grade six to take a leadership course, and their mascot was the Gutter Mutt. xD If you don't know what that is, it's a stray and/or homeless dog of no discernible breed. It's also, hilariously, a slang term for a very poor, unemployed, undesirable, commitment-challenged sexually active man.

- I forgot to credit Daniel for playing the male nurse. Sorry! D:

- They didn't have uniforms the in the school year before this series started. Lila's dream/memory explains why. Referenced more below.

- I cut the last scene off this episode because IT FUCKING CRASHES SO MUCH D:

- Filmed with Vista, edited with 7. I HATE WINDOWS 7 IT'S SO FREAKING SLOWWWWWWWW.

- No, I don't know when episode five will be out. I'm still in the scripting stages and will be for a while.

- You'll notice that there are different bells in this episode. The bing bong bing bong one is for the start and end of school. The brrrrring one is used for classes. The beep and "teachers please excuse the interruption" is used for PA announcements and suchlike.

- Back in episode one there was a reference to a gang beating over money issues, thus the uniforms and strict no-tolerance policy. This may not be clear to some people as the motivator for that beating seems to be over a boy. West Forester was a public school in a poorer area of the city, and its counterpart East Forester is for the more suburban-soccer-mum types. Sunrise High is an Independent School (thus the High School designation, in Canada most "high schools" are called secondary schools), which is like private school but it's for smart kids and richer people, and there's no fees. My brother goes to one, it's so freaking nice. I didn't get in though because of my grades.

- THIS SERIES IS SET IN VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA. NOT. NOT. NOT. THE USA. EXPECT REFERENCES TO CANADIAN STUFF.

- This is my third try at an upload. I ended up splitting it because YouTube is generally a dick to me every other episode of this series. IDK why, but it hates me.

i love how you're NOT glamorizing teen pregnancy. normally when i watch a sims series, somehow teens always end up knocked up, and it's all happily ever after/shitting out dandelions. you're being so realistic with the hardships and struggles that come with being a teen parent, and that to me is just...wow. amazing work! can't wait to see more from you!

Oh! do you use fraps while you're filming? the textures look so realistic in your game... :)
