Thing is, the deal is Toho has distribution rights in Japan, Universal has distribution right in the U.S. It's up to Universal to make an original version available on DVD and... well, that's not happening. So, you're going to have to torrent or grey market it.

In later godzilla movies including the heisei series,godzilla is depicted as a thinking animal.I hated the americanization of these movies,no offense intended.
