I grew up in Eunice, LA. Bought my first guitar from Savoy's music store. The Saturday morning jam sessions were legendary and the would go for hours. Mark Savoy (the dad) makes those accordions and is world renown for bringing our music to the rest of the world. This is how it sounds and there are many family get gatherings that sound something like this (most of us aren't this good). Enjoy!

The Savoy family, Balfa brothers, Nathan Abshire et al. With music like this you can forget the world's problems.

@54321Rambler They did a UK tour recently.

Fantastic music. Particularly like the way Wilson and Joel react with one another here. Wonder what the family thought of that tiny little venue ( The Band Room, Low Mill) they played at recently in the wilds of North Yorkshire, UK. A world away from Louisiana.

It's fun watching those brothers interact with one another as only brothers can. C'est la vie!
Yeah...its really close to Creole Stomp. In fact I had that as the title. Then the song came up on on my ipod..and it was named One Step De Duson on one of the Savoy Albums
