On Monday, June 29th in St. Peter's Basilica, 34 archbishops received from the Popes hands the Pallium, which is the white, woollen stole that expresses closeness and communion with the Successor of St. Peter.During the homily, Benedict XVI noted that faith cannot remain a theory but must be embodied in life and that only true obedience in Christ saves humanity.
