I play an instrument which is called rudraveena.it's a holy music for sufi and darvesh. its a dying indian classical instrument. it has a 5000 thousand years old musical history. its a rare indian classical music instrument. its mother of all indian instruments. only few are playing So please add your comment and suscribe it. Indeed, always LOVED the sound of harpsichord, despite the "monotone"ness of volume (all notes same volume, regardless of keyboard velocity) ...which eventually lead to the invention of the piano.
When i play classical pieces on a steel string guitar, it kind of reminds me of that harpsichord sound =) but more expressive, since your fingers of both hands are directly in contact with the strings.

You rock, would like to do a Vulcan mind meld and suck some of that in....in the meantime I'll just practice.....I like "classical" music on steel string, too. Harpsichords were steel string, of course.......
