@Shaereub well, i think saw does have a good point and plot. it's definitely better than human centipede or horror films that are just all about killing and torturing people without any story behind it. but that's just my opinion:)

@godofwar6511 they couldn't reach the gun before Lawrence cut his foot off. and I think Adam didn't have time to think about shooting the chain because he got the gun just seconds before jigsaw got up...

Other than learning to enjoy life and not take it for granated, there's no point in watching this movie. it dosen't have a purpose or a point to it (other than the enjoying life lesson). It's like Human Centepeaned (which also had no point to it).
