basically just my thoughts on FA thus far after playing the game a few days. im pretty tired right now, not feeling too good so gonna keep this description short even. sorry for the lack of tips & tricks videos, ill have some coming your way in the near future, i promise. its just been easier to record and upload plain gameplays lately since im working full time, rather than making walkthroughs.

you can view my AC's paint job here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TwVDWftgQE&feature=related

as always, your support is appreciated! please comment, and sub if you feel inclined. thanks for watching!

  • your movement reminds me of using exia but only chain boosting on the ground xp you gun like a blader if that makes any sense haha it looks really cool

  • @SamLFlood yea i think FA really allows me to boost like that, what with the forgiving EN and all haha. my blading roots really show thru i guess.

  • What should I put my points in if I want to have longer en boosts

  • @RICEY702 do you mean for more powerful quick boosts, or for more energy for more boosting duration? if you mean for more powerful QB's, then add FRS points to your main booster under Special Boost. If you want more energy overall / more energy efficient boosts, then adding points to EN Output is key. also, adding points to your main booster's regular horizontal boost helps as well.

  • for your controls, do you use the R1+L1 for firing or the square+ X. Or if you're on xbox, the bumpers or the X+A buttons?

  • @richardsimons1234 i play on xbox, Type A configuration, so i use X+A buttons to fire

  • any pointers for someone trying to get back into this game, after years of inactivity, but wasnt that good at the game to begin with???

  • Hey can you say Which boosters u are using ? D:

Because my acis is running out of EN pretty fast when i boost i kinda dont know what boosters i should use...

  • @xruffneckm80x This is an awesome game but I only have one friend that plays with me. Whats your gamertag? We should play sometime

  • @xruffneckm80x thank you, I always lost en so quick just from boosting and staying at horizontal thrust

  • this games is super hard to play..i just bought it and it confusing...

  • @PAYBACKaiw yes, the introduction of quick boosting in addition to overall higher speeds mean the gameplay is much faster. and master of arena is awesome an awesome title in the AC series =]

  • So AC4 gameplay is much faster pace than in the older AC? Sorry I never played AC 2 and above. The only thing I played was master of arena.

  • @xruffneckm80x

I played AC2 as a kid too, and I could never find the karasawa that Ares had... good times. :)

  • @xruffneckm80x

    I loves you! <3

  • FUCK YEAH armored core :3

  • @chrismanify Tellus head is one of the most EN efficient and has decent all-around Defense stats. Salaux core is also light and EN efficient. The arms were chosen for their high aim precision, as well as good ballistic defense, allowing me to land more hits on an opponent while also shrugging off a little more damage. FRS tuning is centered around turning ability, aim precision, lock speed, and horizontal boost efficiency. High speed, low drag.

  • @chrismanify also, this AC is a lightweight, so its Defense is low. I must rely on my speed to avoid being hit. To pilot a lightweight effectively, you must be able to balance speed and constant movement with very good energy management; you never want to tank and find yourself sitting on the ground in a lightweight. The parts I chose all work well together for my goal; Lahire legs have excellent turning ability for high speed, close range combat. allows me to "stick" to a target better.

  • @chrismanify what is it about mine that you like? in terms of energy, this AC has an efficient booster setup; Virtue main, Schedar side. I don't remember what back booster, but it has the lowest EN cost. The Overboost is prolly EN efficient as well. I choose boosters based on my piloting; i go like to push forwards, so i need a powerful main boost. i chainboost like a madman, so my side booster needs to be efficient.

  • How do you make such a great AC? ive tried close to eveery combination and mine sucks =/ please reply.

  • its nearly impossible to keep ruff on his toes with any sort of weapon not to mention machine gun arms :s that was a fun game though, good commentary :)

  • @xruffneckm80x No way, thats exactly the one I started on

  • @ziodice yup i started out playing AC2 on ps2 as a kid

  • Did you ever play any of the older armored core games? They are SOO mch better than AC4 and ACFA
