I will be doing a selection of videos on whether or not dubious tracks are copying others to the point of plagiarism. You be the judge.

  • If interested in ripoffs, check out the Noisettes' "Never Forget You" and the Walker Brothers' "When You're Without Love"

  • You mean "The Sun Don't Shine Anymore?" Yeah, I thought I recognised that melody - nice find!

  • omg go fuck yourself

  • @dommyl 5 seconds, 2 mins, 10mins at what point does it become acceptable to steal?

You care enough to watch the video and comment, this video is 2 years old mate, I was chilled when I made it and I'm chilled now. Thank you.

  • @Richmarkhill78 no he wouldn't

its about 5 seconds, and not an inspired section of music, easy for two different people to come up with something similar.

i don't really care, just chill out. there's only 12 notes and poeple make of them what they can. plagiarisms an underhand thing, btu everyone's effected by what they here, hence genres, they don't happen by coincidence

  • You could also add to the list All Around the World by Oasis, in the end of the song

  • i have no idea who this fudgepacker travis driftwood is but

    LOVE LIVE BLUR!!!!!

  • You're mistaking assuming the word theft can only apply to inanimate objects or land. Theft can come in many forms, stealing someone's idea or text is theft. If you're taking copyrighted material and repackaging it for your own financial gain that's THEFT! :)

I appreciate you're from the Netherlands and there's some what of a translation problem, but seriously you're so wrong it's getting a bit cringing now.

  • plagiarism

    1. The act of plagiarizing: the copying of another person's ideas, text, or other creative work, and presenting it as one's own, especially without permission.

    2. Text or other work resulting from this act.

    theft

    1. The act of stealing property.

Very different things if you ask me.

  • Plagiarism - the act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own. eg. theft, infringement, copying etc.

Sorry you're wrong, I suggest you revaluate words and their true meanings. :)
