Politics in Pakistan is turbulent at best. In the 1970's, the country was ruled by military strongman General Zia. BBC journalist turned author Mohammed Hanif grew up in Pakistan under Zia's malignant dictatorship and skewers the oppressive regime in his new book "A Case of Exploding Mangoes".

  • What you are trying to prove other than trying to sell your book?

    Your opinion are worth nothing. If you are trying to explain the problems of the country. You either dont know realities how the country works or you simply are ignoring that. But I believe you dont know that our political system does not works well. This only works well with a iron hand.
