Altoids Laser

100mW DPSS laser built into a empty Altoids tin. This was made from almost all scrap materials with the exception of the Nd:YVO4/KTP and 808nm pump diode assembly. The heatsink is from a stripped 21" monitor, the battery compartments and switch where pulled from scrap. The lens for focus the laser diode was pulled from a DVD burner.

It's not good over any distance because the lens was mounted with a glue gun and used from a DVD player. Not the best for the job but it well enough.
