Fred Franz was the fourth president of the Watchtower Bible & tract society of the Jehovah´s witnesses. He was the responsible of teaching a "new light" given by god to his "Government body" in New York by 1966 announcing the Armagedon for 1975, with the destruction of Babylon the Great and the great harlot.
Finally, this prophecy was proven false as other false prophecies given in the past, by Russell for Armagedon for 1914 and Joseph Rutherford for Armagedon for 1925.

  • @teflonfanatic I'm a Trinitarian: 3 persons in one God. When did I ever promote modalism? Exaclty what is this "unforgivable sin"? Where is it in the bible? I didn't know what an Arian was; had to look it up-pretty much like a JW. If your not 100% arian and in another post you wrote your are a free-minded JW (which brakes WTS rules so to the WTS your not a JW) I guess you believe what ever you want which is fine with me. Are you saved? TBAM

  • @thebibleanswerman1: Cool collegiate bible student fancy xd, I said two days ago that I was an unbaptized JW and not baptized. I believe Jesus death was the ransom that paid Adam's sin and I believe they are commands that still must be followed since there's unforgivable sin. I am arian but don't follow arius 100%, I believe Jesus has co-rulers as he isn't the only one that Judges the whole world(1 Corinthians 6:2) that's what I believe now you say your trinitarian but you promote modalism why?

  • @teflonfanatic Hi.I believe in the Trinity (Trinitarian). I am an non-denominational Christian (don't like labels), in a personal RELATIONSHIP with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ (no religion, cult or control). He saved me 25 years ago. I am a student of Theology enrolled at Northern California Bible College. Many things I know. Many things I don't and many things I'm still learning. That sums it up for me. What about you? I asked perviously are you a JW? What are your beliefs? TBAM

  • @thebibleanswerman1: First I would like to know your belief system so I know what i'm arguing against are you modalist or trinitarian?

  • @teflonfanatic The WTS view of 1 Cor 15:20-28 is completely distorted (another topic for another time). I DO believe Jesus IS Jehovah; no confusion and its very simple to prove with no fancy “language”. This can be proven undeniably in just 4 easy versus (although there are many, many others). We can get to the control issue in a later. Let’s take it one topic at a time. Would you like for me to show you that Jesus is Jehovah?

  • I'm also a JW yes but pretty free minded and not baptized if i'm here obviously.

  • @thebibleanswerman1: Jesus is God only in the sense he rules as king until the end of the 1,000 year reign(1 Corinthians 15:20-28) and he has his fathers nature which is spirit. When you say he's also God(Jehovah) do you believe they're the same person and if not why use such language to confuse people? You say a religion controls yet when you look up the definition that's what the apostles did after Jesus went home. They had congregations all over and councils in letters to "control"

  • @teflonfanatic Following Jesus is both a religion and a cult? That doesn't even make sense. It's like me saying to you "please hand me the little small screwdriver". Yes, Jesus founded Christianity because he was the Mesiah, but he IS also God (Jehovah); he is both God AND man. He never "founded" the Apostles. They followed him WILLINGLY because the KNEW who he was. Cults and religions CONTROL. A RELATIONSHIP with Jesus sets us free (no cult/religion) control and no fanatics. Are you a JW?

  • @thebibleanswerman1: Be honest and read the definitions for those three words(which were defined by linguistic scholars) and tell me if you don't meet the criteria of any of those definitions. I'm saying following Jesus is both a religion and a cult. He founded Christianity with the apostles(religious leader and therefore not Jehovah) and if you look up cult it's the same definition as religion, some dictionaries classify cult as a group of fanatical people. Are you fanatical of Jesus?

  • @teflonfanatic Um, hi.. you don't make sense... "according to the dictionary definition of Jesus and religion and cult".... I think what you're trying to say is Jesus is a "leader" not Jehovah, therefore I'm following a cult because I follow Jesus... according to the dictionary... is that what you're trying to say?
