FREEDOM SONG PT 8

The story of the Civil-Rights Movement as seen through the eyes of a teenage Owen Walker (Shannon--THE HURRICANE) growing up in bigotry laden Mississippi in the 1960s at a time when Jim Crow black segregation laws were legal. Owen regrets his father's (Glover--LETHAL WEAPON) passive behavior against racism and joins the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) as they struggle to reeducate black citizens and gain basic human rights, predominately the right to vote. From the writer and director of FIELD OF DREAMS, based on accounts of actual SNCC members.

@Quilmaster12 Back in those days??? Most of them STILL ARE!!! I feel for most of them when the Lord comes back!! They have probably been the most despicable race of all time. Gods word instruct love and selflessness, something that the white race generally speaking has never stood for.

These people fought so hard and people make racist comments like its nothing. even in today's society, I know black people that put other black people down using derogatory terms. Its sickening.
