Delhi Metro Rail - Yellow Line extends from Jahangirpuri in North Delhi all the way to HUDA City Center in the burgeoning satellite town of Gurgaon. The line extends over 45 kms and 34 stations. The final section of the line, ie from Central Secretariat to Qutab Minar, was opened in Sep 2010 while the very first section from Kashmere Gate to Vishwa Vidyalaya was opened at the end of 2004.

A single ticket fare for the full length of the line costs ca 65 US Cents (29 Indian Rupees).
Delhi Metro's (six lines) daily ridership increased to 1.8 million passengers at the beginning of August 2011. Delhi Metro is slated to become one of the most extensive and busiest in the world by 2016 when the network is expected to extend to almost 300 kms (currently 190 kms and 140 stations) and carry around 4 million passengers a day.
