I figured, I do everything else, why not photography? Check out the unveiling of my first DSLR, the Sony Alpha A230. I love the camera. Go try one out for yourself. If you're considering getting into DSLR photography, camera choice is a very personal thing. There are no right or wrong answers, so go try everything! Other cameras I considered: Canon XSi, Nikon D40, Nikon D3000, Sony A330.

It doesn't do any video, and you don't get the live view like in the A300 but you get SD slot, hdmi out (for view on a LCD TV) and 2 lens if it is the twin lens kit! In the A300 you get a body that looks more pro but it takes compact flash, no hdmi out, no thin lens (for the same price) but the LCD moves

Wow! Thanks for the link! I love the photos you took with that Camera! Im so glad I watched your video too. I just ordered this same camera and was concerned how the image quality would be. Needless to say, for an entry level camera, I'm not concerned anymore.

I'm getting this camera on Sunday, and I was instantly excited when I saw the photos you took. I take a lot of photos for my boyfriend's band and my current one.. Really can't keep up with anything.
