@BeanHillBuckHunter I know here in Michigan you rarely ever get a chance at shooting at them standing still, so I like to have at least a 50mm objective so you don't lose them when leading them. Again all on preference.

Nice shot, but there is no way you need a scope that big. I wack all my yotes with a 3x9x42

@MrNgkiller your eyes must be better then mine because when im shooting coyotes at upwards of 500 yards I like to crank it up to at least 14x and they still look small lol

@BeanHillBuckHunter I would say you, or anyone for that matter, Shooting coyotes upwards of 500 yds is a rarity at best. I am however able to shoot milk jugs regularly at 400 with my 3x9 and 2.5x10 off of a bench

@MrNgkiller in a calling scenario its probably once a year shot but running them with the dogs its probably a daily occurrence. Target shooting is another good point, my preference for that is cranked as high as it goes. The farther away and the smaller the target, the more power I want. But its all just personal preference...
