@bucky468 MacNichol's departure I'm sure did have something to contribute to it but I thought I read he'd left that show before amd they survived. I understand being mad at that particular actor but you don't know the real reason he left. something may have been going on behind the scenes. Or maybe he felt like working less because he's not particularly a front and center person on Grey's.

@bucky468 Sorry your show went off. My favorite show was Roswell but it went off The WB after 2 seasons. Fans, including me fought for it & we got one season on UPN & many blamed Smallville for replacing it, given it's concept of an alien w/ a destiny who tries to deny it cause he wants to be normal. Personally I actually ended up liking Smallville, but not as much as I loved Roswell because it wasn't that show's fault mine went off the air. don't think Grey's is to blame for your show either.

@gigga143 Went off in March or April 2010. MacNichol's departure played a big role in NUMB3RS coming to an end. That show had a solid cast from top to bottom. Dave Krumholtz has just as many fans as Pat Dempsey (many of them are brainy math loving females.) NUMB3RS had a lot of educational value to it as did MacNichol's character (he along w/Krumholtz played college math profs & DK as an FBI agt's younger brother & mathematics equations were used hence which is why the show was called NUMB3RS.)

@bucky468 Is Numb3rs off the air? And believe me if I could give you back Peter MacNichol I would. I'm not a fan of his GA character but maybe he just wanted to move on. He left that show before to do 24 right?Maybe he didn't want to re-sign & was looking for something else, it happens. I don't know why more people aren't interested in Numb3rs but I can tell you why I'm not, because it's a crime/police show. I don't care for those but I like medical dramas. I do agree Krumholtz is NO McDreamy!

@gigga143 I will & already have found something I enjoy. GA stole Peter MacNichol from NUMB3RS when GA's creators tampered w/PMN's contract that he had w/CBS. It's very hard to respect a show where the creators/exec producers steal an actor from someone else's show. Why couldn't more people pay more attention to NUMB3RS instead of damn GA? NUMB3RS had better storylines & the acting was way better. Now GA's female fans calling NUMB3RS star Dave Krumholtz a McDreamy wannabe. I say bullsh**!!

@bucky468 I don't watch Private Practice so I can't say much about that show. Kate Walsh seems like an okay actress but I'm not a fan or non-fan or hers & I really know nothing about her personal life nor do I care, but I doubt her marriage ending had anything to do with her acting. I do agree the show seems to be more geared towards women but plenty of shows are primarily geared towards one sex. My point is why seek out something that upsets you instead of finding something you enjoy watching?

@gigga143 Yep for every 5 GA fans there's gonna be 1 or 2 haters. That's the way it goes.

A vast majority of GA's audience is female & that's just a fact. A lot of the fact that women like this show is b/c of the McDreamy/McSteamy tandem. That bugs me to death. I can't help it. And I hate Private Practice too. It's an obvious GA extension & the acting is horrible. I see why Kate Walsh's marriage was very short lived. She can't act worth dung & she's a highly overrated actress. Simple as that
