D-50 emulates the Korg PE2000

Roland D-50 can emulate quite well the Korg PE2000 "Polyphonic Ensemble", used by JM Jarre in his album "Equinoxe".
I play a part of the 2nd movement, using the patch I've programmed on my D-50 to match the original sound used on this track.

Another brilliant piece of programming! Has that got elements of "Gurgel" in the partials perchance? Love it.

@TeeJF "Gurgel" (referring to "Gurgel Strings" ?) are based on a filtered synth string part (all saw waves) + a wave with pitch modulating LFO.

"PE 2000" is not really built the same way : it's all layers of saw waves, filtered of course, but that "swirly" feeling is generated with 2 chorus/flanger, one on each layer, with different settings :)

In how far is the Small Stone Phaser involved in this patch?

SmallStone is not involved at all in this patch. If it were used, a red LED would be clearly visible.

It is 100% D-50, without any external FX. 100% D-50 chorus ;-)
