@mermaidofsuburbia From the times I've been there yes, there are some waves, but I believe they are caused by the wind. To me it feels more like a gigantic lake. Kinda what I picture one of the great lakes to feel like.

I'm looking to move somewhere on the water - coastal-like but without the threat of tsuanmis. Does Alki Beach have an ocean-like atmosphere, but with tiny waves, or am I completely wrong?
