This system is totally diffrent from the skype videophone sold 2 years ago, which was the same shit as iris 3000, I agree.

If the TV is not compatible, theres is a wifi receptor , in order to be used with this gadget

Absolutely wrong!

At first, when you travel, the only thing , you have to carry is the camera itself (and not the TV)

Secondly, I m living in city, and the quality is really good with skype, but bad with with my iris 3000

Secondly, have you really had heard about google voice ?.......

And , I'm sorry, but carrying this big videophone is not really great,: too big

Skype sucks. Let's be honest here. Usually in life, you get what you pay for.

Skype is free..... it's no wonder why the quality is horse crap. Not only did their whole network go down last week, even when its not down, it's choppy, delays like it's Apollo 13 in 1969 from the moon on the other end.

And then the computers freeze up because of this crap.

If you're not so poor, spend a few bucks and get the video phone.

Well, as with all IP telefony, quality is directly realted to the quality of your internet connection.

Anyway, are you carrying your TV with you when travelling? If not, you'll only be able to use this device at home or wherever you have a compatible TV.

As I said, the concept is already a couple of years old and nobody was interested. Btw, whatever happened to this other videphone SKYPE launched last year? Anyone buying that one?

Interesting concept. I remember seeing something similar a few years back but apparently the idea didn't take off. Looks like most people prefer to have a phone that they can actually place on their desk or take with them.

In any case, the IRIS 3000 can be easily connected to a TV so this is a function that already exists PLUS you have an actual phone.

Besides, when was the last time you talked with SKYPE customer service? :)
