its not the taste, its the idea of eating parts that we are unfamiliar with and the texture, and unfortunately this is what happened to american food culture in the 20th century which is a shame. and its not a "white thing" either, because eating the organs and other 'non desirable' parts of animals is quite common in european cuisines as well as non-european. its a shame really because a lot of good food is being put to waste because of our squeamish attitudes towards food

I remember eating goat brains when I was a kid in Northern Mexico. It was honestly the best taco I've ever had! Didn't know what it was at the time but it tasted delicious.
