Our Shadowed Past

I made this video to portray the brother/sister relationship between two characters, the queen of Avalendor, Alexandria, and her brother, Orin. The two, growing up, were very close to one another, but certain things pulled them apart and caused them to grow distant with one another. I tried to capture that as best I could with the clips I used and with the song. The black and white are supposed to represent the past, while the color represents the present. Song playing is Evanescence's "Field of Innocence". Clips were taken from the movies: The New World, Tears of the Sun, Passion of Christ and Brotherhood of the Wolf. I claim none of these and all belong to rightful owners.

Young Alexandria is portrayed by Q'Orianka Kilcher.
Present day Alexandria is portrayed by Monica Bellucci.
Orin is portrayed by Christian Bale.

Wow! Great video, I loved your concept. I can tell a lot of thought and time went into this. I liked the voice overs and the black and white helped to distinguish the past scenes. I especially liked the scene were they're reading the book together, it really made them seem like siblings. And Monica Bellucci is a great choice for a grown up Q'Orianka, I had never really thought about it but they really resemble one another. Great job! :)
