  • Thanks for taking me along for the ride.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • nice line though, its like the OC transpo transitway here in Ottawa Canada, they are using NFI D60LF but are upgrading to the brand new ,new flyer Artic

  • When planned in the 1980s it was originally supposed to be light rail or even an extension of the Red Line but Valley homeowner NIMBYs and powerful moneyed Jews thwarted it and didnt even want BRT. But Light Rail is the best modal choice for the corridor and hopefully in the future it can be converted with the addition of grade separations in key spots

  • wow, what a nasty pot hole at 0:49 you would think they would maintain the thing.

  • i wish they can change to light rail. i have to wait 5 minutes for the crossing on van nuys to go. plus, before the huge plumage of accidents, the bus went at 55MPH, and crossed at 20MPH. now its slower.

they could change to light rail, or at least put some of those things that go down when a locomotive is coming making that DING DING DING DING sound, so it can go non stop

  • This should have been a rail line. It is already operating at designed peak capacity. However, Bi-articulating buses will help.

  • i can see the orange line from my window ;D

  • Are "grade crossing" accidents still an issue or have people figured it out by now?

  • They do have the traffic signal priority transponders on the buses when they approach a traffic signal. Keep in mind this dedicated busway used to be a railroad right-of-way.

  • Ten they'll have to move those metro liner buses onto Wilshire Boulevard where they're needed.
