If the legislation was that bad that it has to be reviewed a year later, why did the Tories pass it in the first place?

Thank you very much for posting this. I'm thinking the good folks in govt need to review the concepts of conservative government versus facist government. Maybe they have been out of school too long, and are out of touch with these concepts. The very idea that a government should have the rights to do as they please without legal repercussion or responsibility sounds like something you would see on the evening news in some other country an ocean away.
