@ thesiveriansaint You are right, do your research. People see these dogs and their strikingly beautiful looks, their pure almost human like nature and fall in love. But just with humans, huskies have a mind of their own. They need a lot of attention, exercise and training. AND adopt instead of buy. You don't need to get a puppy to make sure they bond well with a home. When you adopt an adult dog, they KNOW you saved them and are MORE appreciative and loving.

@ Wolvesofminecraft I am sure if you do a quick search in your area on google you will find a local rescue for either husky or borders and be able to offer your services to them. Most all rescues now are hurting for foster homes. Like ours, if there are no foster homes for the dogs to go to, then there is no way we can save dogs. It's that simple.

Siberian Husky: The most beautiful and most misunderstood breed.

While they make wonderful family members, this breed is not for everyone. Before you bring any animal into your home, it is very important to do as much research as possible. Research and education are key elements to eliminating the homeless pet problem in America. Thank you for making this video. I respect and appreciate anyone who takes the time to help this breed. God knows they need all the help they can get.

this video made me cry as well, I adopted one almost 2 years ago after he was shot in his face with a 22 and left for dead by someone in my neighborhood. now I am looking for a female for him so he won't be so lonely.

this video made me cry, especially because i've got such a beauty standing next to me right now. he was 11 months old and i was his 3rd owner, and he will be 4 this years this november. took him a long time to trust me. so think before taking a dog, any dog. But these beauties need to run, walk and love, if you are able and willing to do so, youll have a great companien.
