High school graduates are covering city streets in eggs and flour today (Tues) in national celebration of the traditional Norijada.
Traditionally the graduates throw flour, ketchup and eggs at each other on the street as well as on public transport - to the annoyance of some of the passengers.
But graduates from Pula decided to donate the flour to the citys Red Cross organisation instead of wasting it, the Croatian daily 24 Sata writes.
"When you see the cities inundated with flour and eggs, while people are starving and would give anything for a little bit of flour, we decided to give out flour and not waste it," they said.
