So Legit!!!

@adamforest Yeah, talk about those championships.
-
@Fattious Yeah my team would be the UW Huskies dumbshit. You know, the school that's been to the Rose Bowl 14 times and won 8 of them. You want me to talk about our 3 National Championships too? Go home little duckling and watch your Nike pro team lose to Auburn.

i was 14, in the stands and just wow. wow. was in the stands for the rose bowl that year too. not as good of a memory, haha.

And then the ducks were born

I was about 8 years old sitting behind the endzone where he scored...maybe 20 rows up...still one of my favorite childhood memories. Go Ducks. Oh and I love how all the Duck haters come out of the woodwork now. Not many fans had been longer suffering than Oregons.

@adamforest Good call douchebag. What's your fag team? With all your Rose Bowl wins?
I was there at that game sitting at about the 5 yard line of the endzone where Wheaton scored. Couldn't see the actual INT. Just heard an explosion of noise. When Wheaton emerged into my view with the ball and nothing but daylight, it was honestly one of the most pure joyous moments of my life.
Interesting to hear those commentators say at that moment how memorable that play would become. I think any Duck fan knew they were witnessing a monumental moment in time for Duck football.

I remember standing in the parking lot right after the game waiting for a friend. To this day I have never seen so many pissed off people as the Washington Fans were walking out. As the color guy in this clip mentions, Washington really did dominate the game statistically. But that is why this was such a watershed game for the Duck program. It marked the moment when the Ducks knew how to win games. Not just make good plays when it doesn't matter.
