The root cause of income tax was the Federal Reserve Act of 1913...a totally unconstitutional act. Leaving the monetary system in the hands of a private banking institution was the premise of the American Revolution. The gov't borrows money in which they print out of thin air and WE (including you) pay the interest. That interest is paid through income tax. They answer to no one, and we just don't seem to give a shit when the gov't borrows money. Keep fighting for your collection agency...

Wrong, dipstick. The Supreme Court has said that the 16th didn't give Congress any new powers of taxation, which is true because all the 16th did was remove the apportionment clause to an already existing system of income tax. The same one that's been in place since the Founding Fathers.

Constitution deniers continue to blindly follow the gov'ts' lead, don't question anything, and deny the freedom of anyone who doesn't just 'fall in line' the right to dispute changes and interpretations of the 'law of the land'.
