@ArticMuse you sure have an ATPL license and Airbus type-rating?
The Retard callout is only heard when throttles are not set to idle on approximately 20 feet radio altitude. The only one to be called "Retard" is you at the moment ;)

@ArticMuse passengers do not hear the retard call out and besides, it is only heard when throttles are not retarded to idle at approx. 20ft RA
