Michael Schumacher Tribute - When Words Are Not Enough

When I was 5 years old, little child who just loved cars, I've discovered, that there is something more, something beyond the world I've known, there is one big championship all around the world of 22 cars, single-seaters formulas, and behind the steering wheels there are 22 drivers, racing for a glory, for a win, for a championship.

First man who has immediately impressed me was a German driver in red shark - Ferrari, named Michael Schumacher and this man has become my big hero through my childhood. I was able to just sit and watch all the races and followed my hero through his first winning season in Ferrari - year 2000. Then he took another four championship titles and became a living legend, the best driver in Formula 1 ever, breaking all the past records...

I've never lost my passion for Formula 1, even he left that world after amazing 2006 season with very sad end. And I was so excited, so happy and so proud when he announced his comeback with the 2009 champions Brawn GP, bought by Mercedes and with some great names in the team from the past winning era in Ferrari. Unfortunately from the winning thoughts it turned up to be the most difficult time in Michael's career and after three years without a single win, only one pole position (which he couldn't enjoyed because of penalty) and one podium. But it wasn't a disaster for him, of course, statistics doesn't look so good anymore, but he was there to enjoy the racing again, and he enjoyed it. He had a fun. He was happy... and in 2012 this fairy tale called "Michael Schumacher" came to its end, as he decided to leave Formula 1 for the second and last time.

Michael, thank you very much for everything you've done in Formula 1, thank you for fantastic memories, thank you for every single race, for every single wave and wink on the camera, for every single smile... you wanted to be remembered as a racer, but I'll remember you as figher and amazing person, who has always cared about the others. He has never lost his determination, his joy, his love for racing...and his speed.

Thank you and this video is full of my memories and it's everything what I've ever wanted to tell the others about you, because the words are not enough in this case. This project was one of the most challenging, to put 21 years into 11 minutes was a real task, but I'm proud now and happy what I've done and I hope you've enjoyed it (or will enjoy it), too.

absolutely love it! Actually makes me cry :) I started following the Schuperstar back at the start of 1992 because I was fed with Mansell mania and wanted to support a up and coming fresh face. Everyone needs a hero and he's mine and I mss him so much from the grid. Really pleased you included San Marino 2003, it was probably his greatest win and everyone forgets it and why... I was there it was so emotional.
