Your child, or some of his friends, probably use ritalin. This substance is considered legal and "safe" by the psychiatric community.

Ritalin is a highly addictive, mind altering substance which has taken at least hundreds of lives as a result of overdoses and bad interactions.

the main advantage of these kind of drugs is that they give you another point of view of things. They take you to another place and from it you can have a more unbiased look at what you otherwise take for granted or normal. Your straight conscious is a suppressor and it skews your outlook, you need to get rid of it sometimes to have an alternative of it and to boost and cleanse your mind's perception. And after all they give you unique experience. It's a tool, a really helpful one if used wisely

Acid does kinda fuck you up. My friends mom knew a guy who was driving on acid saw a elephant in the back seat, got out to get the elephant out and fell in a 2 inch puddle and drowned.
