@turtlemann14 They dont have an idle circuit and the only way to keep the engine from loading up and stalling out is to keep revving them up and down. It sounds like they are revving the crap out of it, but really they aren't when you consider the red line is around 20,000rpm and they are revving to maybe 6 or 8000rpm

2 Strokes don't like idling for a long time.

why rev the piss out of it right on start up?(really, does it have a purpose?) i understand that it is a race bike meant to be rebuild often, but still. at least give the oil a chance to circulate.

I want one as well. but I think the startup is much more cool when you have 2 little japanese guys in white jumpsuits and ball caps push start you. Do they come with the bike?
