A short shot of appreciation to all of the people who helped me in a time of drastic need. And there are many who contributed who I forgot to mention: Peg and Glenn Speirs, Deb and Fred Gurman, Art DeSantis, Maria Ruoff, Robert Metzger, Deb Schlouch, Peter Jon Snyder, Peter Kinney, John and Susan Wagner, Norb Schneider, James and Joanne Carroll, Marilyn Fox, Bev Leviner, Robert Pepper, Dianne LaBelle, George Veiner, Ed Silverman, Jerry and Carolyn Halleran, Nancy Sarangoulis, Danny Looker, Anna Kuo, Ted Ormai, Mary Stoudt, my brother Ken, my daughter Deanna, all the people who donated artwork at Robbie's gallery and an anonymous benefactor who had a hundred gallons of heating oil delivered to my empty fuel tank. I love you all.

  • Ron,

One of the most touching and poignant vids I've seen. I'm glad the art tribe came together for you. Here in NYC they'd probably let you die in the streets and walk over you on the way to the wine table.

Glad you bounced back I think you've got more work yet to do, good luck LOREN

  • Thank you, Loren, and believe me, I'm not finished yet, the job is not done and I have a lot of things in the works. Life is good.

  • Hey Ron, I've been there too (not pneumonia, but with a monster kidney stone a few years back) - there are no words to express the appreciation for the people who help you survive. Isn't modern medicine great?

  • Well, they did a great job and saved my life, but it wasn't cheap. It's amazing though, how many people came to my aid. I must be doing something right. And I never had a kidney stone but I saw my brother and my dad go through that pain, ow!

  • You are a lucky man to have such kind and wonderful friends. They are lucky too to have someone express appreciation for their friendship. It is great you are feeling better. :-)

  • thank you, things are much better, and yes, I am a lucky and grateful man

  • Just stumbled on to this video while looking around YouTube. It's very good to know that there are still good people out here. It's even better that you know plenty of them. Take care

  • Over the last three years my life has been tunred upside down and litterally fallen apart. Unlike you, the "friends" who came to help, actually stole from me and took advantage of my situation. The experience has hurt me more than I can tell you. Where once I was all caring and trusting, I now fight feelings of mistrust and anger. Your video helps my feelings and gives me hope that there are still good and caring people in the world. Thank thank for sharing your story.

  • glad to see you're out and about

had a minor heart attack myself

    take care

  • thanks Doc, stay in touch

  • Ron,

Sorry to hear of you troubbles now. I was on a vacation out of the country and was totally unaware. Great to hear that all is better!

    You old pal,

    Dr. Art
