The price on the 888 website is $79...not $49.95.
I would love to buy one...but at that price and with the cost of shipping to Australia im just gonna have to wait for the copies to start arriving from Hong Kong.
-
actually have never used mine, its heavy and they should definitely make the length longer and would be nice if it was skeletonized
-
888 just introduced three additional knives...some interesting new designs. I carry a WrightKnife every day, and it's a great little tool.

cool review freshly done and straight to the point..........--*

wat a pile of poo --------- i collect barry wood knives ----- and barrys knives are LIGHTYEARS BETTER than this P.O.S. !!!!!! ........ P.S. ---- BARRY DIDNT INVENT THAT FOLDING MECHANISM , THOUGH HE DID PATENT IT ----- I'VE SEEN KNIVES FROM THE 1800'S WITH THAT " ROTARY " MECHANISM !!!
-
why are you doing a review against a maki sushi rolling mat?
-
Great design, love it.
-
wouldn't that have the same opening.closing mechanism as the janisong?
anyhow, great review as always.
Does this knife lock open? Or is it kinda like a balisong with the latch open?

It's like a balisong. There is no actual lock. The two scales do "click" into place open. So it won't close on it's own, but it certainly isn't locked. Good catch.
