Red Sovine was an amazing storyteller. I probably have the largest collection of Red Sovine autographed memorbelia ever assembled. He is so underappreciated that I got most of the items for almost nothing- but the collection is worth much more to me. No ammount of money could pry it out of my hands!

I can't believe I found this song on here. This is such a fond memory from my childhood. My mom cried everytime she heard it.

some of my earliest memories as a child was my grandpa singing me little rosa by red sovine. i would sit and beg him to sing it again. it was sad but i never cried. he would laugh with tears rolling down and tell me that i had a cold heart. lol Looking back now i miss my grandpa. andi love all of red sovine thanks to my grandpa

I hitch hiked cross country three times back in the 70's and many shorter trips ..... I could always count on truck drivers to pick me up if stranded .... in Wyoming, Utah, Nevada....I tried hitch hiking earlier this summer -- no one stopped -- not even all those folks who go to church on Sunday ....
