i think it might be 'four corners make a home'

it might make a bit more sense being called paperhouse and whatnot.

you could be right... but i still think it's "hole" (or i guess it could be "whole", depending on how you look at it), because of this:

"Four corners make a hole

And the holes will drag you under"

it makes sense to me. kind of like a play on words, if you want to look at it in the "whole" sense. (ie. "two halves make a whole" --> "four corners make a whole" --> "four corners make a hole") and holes = graves, in a metaphorical sense.
