The biggest myth of them all is that it can be considered 'western culture'. If Israel is 'western culture' I'd never wanna consider myself 'western' again. Who would free them from the yoke of Roman rule, and establish His own reign of peace and rule for the whole world. Israel has never been sent a Messiah and the Israel of today is not the Israel of Jewish law. International law recognizes Israel and this is not in dispute, but the time of God’s promise to reconstitute Israel, has not come.

I respect your faith but the Arab Palestinians suffer greatly

and simply seek justice. I hope someday you can see this.

You mention God’s punishment and promise and you are correct. To atone for Solomon’s idolatry, the Kingdom of Israel fell and the tribes had to atone for sins from the time of Abraham until God’s advent of the Messiah. There can be no sovereign Israel until the Hebrew Messiah [identified by the Torah/Talmud] unites the tribes again. The Jews yearned for the promised deliverer from the house of David, born as a humble and ordinary man.

Solomon’s Kingdom of Israel did not fall due to outside invasion; but from Solomon turning to idolatry and away from the One True and Almighty God. The division of the Israelite Kingdom into Judah and Israel took place after his death. Greeks have called this area Palestine from the 5th century BCE. The name Palestina takes hold from the Romans conquest of Jerusalem in 63 BC., mostly the territory of Syria, Samaria and the Galilee.

The Lord also stated that Jerusalem and the nation of Israel was going to be troublesome to the rest of the world, and that is true to this day. God also states that any nations which desires to or tries to destroy Israel, and the Jews, would pay a price, they will be destroyed in totality during the Great Tribulation. God will not be mocked. And God is just, far more than you or me.

And what you don't understand is, that the land was TAKEN by force from the Israelites, some of it was a judgement passed by God, but it was NEVER to destroy them, but to chastise them, there is difference. Palestine did not exist at the time of being taken over by the Babylonians, it was two nations, Judah, and Israel, and up to the Roman period. That also was judgement by God.
