On June 13th Eyedea & Abilities performed their new album "By The Throat", for an intimate audience at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis, MN. Each song was prefaced with a short story or an explanation about that song. Michael Gaughan, the artist responsible for the album artwork, did a watercolor painting of the duo while they performed. "Sky Diver" is the third video in this series with more videos to come so stay tuned.

I saw my brother go through drug addiction. I never understood what he felt until I started listening to Eyedea. Now I get it. Funny thing is: my brother showed me Eyedea's music. I just wish I could shake Eyedea's hand and thank him for letting me understand. R.I.P.

@Rehver Cause heroin is the most intense high I have ever had, and being dope sick feels like I fell from the sky and hit the ground hard. So skydivers are real high but are falling. Like being on heroin you get really high but being dope sick you are falling.

@Rehver an addiction is a lot like falling out of the sky (sky diving) because you have 0 control, you're consumed by fear that you may die, but there's still that divine feeling of having no strings attached, no worldly worries. it's like a deadly freedom.

@manchise So true man. If you dissect his lyrics from a variety of songs, it has lessons and meanings that directly relate to many spiritual teachings but he put his own twist on them.
