This quail and cuckoo clock was imported from Germany by Welby in the 1950s. It has the typical solid brown finish used on many cuckoo clocks in the 1950s and 1960s. The case is 18 inches tall with a 4 inch dial.

  • It's unusual for a cuckoo quail clock to sound a single cuckoo at half past after the two quail calls.

  • @TommyWylie You are correct, the antique ones (ca. 1900) cuckoo only on the hour.

  • @SerenityValleyVFR It's one of their clocks.

  • I find this clock amusing, I really like it

  • A bit of overkill with the quail and cuckoo, (I think I would find it annoying) but still a wonderful, beautiful clock.

  • I know I have a clock problem when I hear the Westminster go off in the background and I'm not sure if it is one of mine or in the background of your video...

That, and surfing for cuckoo videos on youtube probably counts as well.
