You won't believe how many people use proxys in china. every 5th person on the internet is proxying (not really, just sayin'). They don't care, and nor does the Government. Please go to China before making assumptions.

@rogermuffin of course the government supports free trade. you only have to look at a graph of chinese economic growth to see it rocket off in the 70s when they embraced it. and yes, it probably is weakening the regimes hold, but when you see political prisoners and mass censorship of information especially on the internet it seriously makes you wonder how free people are. and of course they wont arrest everyone in the nation, they only have to make people OBEY them through fear

its not like the goverment has a 'thought police' or cameras installed everywhere. They don't kidnap EVERY SINGLE ONE of the 1.8BILLION people who do not do exactly as the government tells them to. Goodness, have you been to china? Please don't make assumptions like that. China's population is not made up of communist, government-fearing robots. The government supports free trade and thus, they don't have a very tight grip on their population

@rogermuffin i wouldn't say china has better human rights than most countries. thats only true if you do exactly as the government tells you and you never criticise it. otherwise you disappear. if you think that they have better human rights because they have more authority over the people keeping order then its a double edged sword because that peace is kept with the fear of millions

sbs is a public tv station that caters for people of a foreign background, and people who are interested in overseas. for example, it shows news shows in languages other than english, foreign movies, journalism focusing on other countries, docmentaries, etc.

if you didn't notice from the song, pauline hanson was a racist redneck politician, I guess sorta like Jean Marie Lepen, Nick Griffin, or Geert Wilders.

Years ago when I was younger, we lived in QLD, there was a fish n chip shop that used to make the crappiest tasting fish n chips, we found out later it belonged to Pauline Hanson.
