My Trophy Moose Hunt 2006

After many years of applications for Bull Moose, I finally drew out in 2006. This is a once in a lifetime tag for Utah. If you do not get an animal during your allotted time, you just loose out, not more chances.

The unit is in Northern Utah, my favorite place to hunt and camp. Years of exploring and scouting the area that is probably 20 by 20 miles of BLM, Forest Service, and a lot of unposted private land, has given us a great feel for where to look for animals.

In 2003, I finally purchased a digital camera that has allowed me to share some of the beautiful wildlife pictures that I have captured over the years.

Now I have purchased an older (and really better) digital camcorder, so from now own I can make movies as well as slide shows.

The Grandkids hunt with us now. The Grandson took a huge cow elk on his first day with a bow on his first hunt that he was able to actually able to be the hunter. We have a video of that elk on our site and on the Tube.

Hey archersfriend, great video. I really like the way you did the whole thing. I have a butcher shop here in Canada, and appreciate hunters that take proper care of their meat. Jerky, sausage. cubasa, smokies, pepperonis, the list goes on. Only bad thing is now I'm to busy to hunt. A lot of guys are not allowing idiots to comment on their vids. I respect even their opinions, but we would appreciate the same courtesy. Its impossible to beat the taste of a good moose roast.

Eating them is the real ticket to winning. No point in hunting if you don't eat the chemical free meat. Much better than the stuff sold in the cute white Styrofoam package with the petroleum based plastic wrap.
