i think that it's sad at the end where it mentions that 300 lakota were murdered yet 20 medal of honors were given to soldiers.....for murdering innocent people.that part makes me both angry and sad.

I am native and from Montana. The field at Wounded Knee is a very sad place. Memories sometimes stay with the land more than they do with us humans. This video was very well done and it is appreciated. Thanks to all for taking the time to see the message conveyed by the song.

Beautifully done. This brought me to tears and made me angry. I am shamed when I think of many things in history, but especially in American history because this is the nation in which I am expected to have pride. Massacres such as this remind me that "justice and equality for all" is an ideal and not the reality. We must continue to battle ignorance, xenophobia, prejudice, hatred, intolerance, and inequality if we are to become the nation honored in our most patriotic songs and rhetoric.
