Louie Passed His Therapy Dog Test

Louie, the 14 month old Newfoundland puppy, passed his therapy dog test yesterday! It was amazing that he got his Rally Novice title and his TDI certification in one day. We are so proud. I tried to put titles on all of the different steps so that people who are interested can see what the test is all about.

Wow that is so neat! I have a 3 month old Newf pup and I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Lately I've been thinking about how I could use my dog in my therapy sessions. How does a dog become a certified therapy dog? I'm in Ontario, Canada, do you know where I would find the info. thanks so much for sharing this.

Congratulations!! My Keeshond is sitting the test in just over a week. He's a Mumma's boy too but I think he'll be okay!
