The spring 2009 class in Aesthetics of Interactive Arts produced a video with this assignment. Mihai Nadin, who teaches this class, defined the assignment. In short: innovations trigger aesthetic creativity. The students are asked to document the process in their own YouTube videos.
By claiming that the spoon has anticipated GPS, you are artificially forcing a state consciousness/awareness into an inanimate object. This is made to suggest that the spoon... one of the first tools... somehow has taken into account the potential evolution of itself into a Global Positioning System. Really? A spoon can't think, it's not conscious and can't logistically ANTICIPATE anything... you're claiming that the spoon, in its apparent infinite wisdom, new that GPS was coming. Really? Wow.
