Jan 24 - Four children have been killed in Barcelona after the roof of a sports centre collapsed during high winds.
Torrential rain and winds of up to 170 kilometres an hour have been battering the southwest of France and northern Spain for a second day. The storms are so powerful they brought down the roof of a sports centre in Barcelona, killing four children. In France, more than a million homes are without electricity and authorities have been forced to close roads, railways and airports.
Liz Kennedy reports.
