the arcade version is better on mame thats what i play it on it's harder to one shot you dead and only power up is a gun and sword that comes from one hostage it doesn't go with you on the next mission...

PS: There was also an arcade version for this game... in the arcade bullets were instant deaths instead of just 2 life bars of damage as on the SMS.
