Asus Eee PC 901 with Vista Ultimate

instead of upgrading the ram you can reconfigure it so it will run multiple programs with out slowing. it worked wonders for my desktop.

how was it installing vista thought?

On my desktop, I could barely run more then 3 applications reliably. Of course, I've not touched the desktop for a long while, so I didn't have a clue why it was going so slow. I thought it was just Vista, since it was just very slow for so long...
Discovered that a virus scan was slowing down the whole system... for 5 HOURS. My desktop was rendered unusable for 5 HOURS. Of course, I don't run virus scans on my Linux laptop, so I didn't know it was scheduled.
Vista was fine after, but DAMN...

Good vid. I installed Vista on my eeePC 904HD and it works fine. The Atheros AR5007EG was a nightmare to get working, lots of Google searching finally find me some drivers. Still don't have Ethernet - but have no need for that :-)

u don't think i know that??.....i downloaded it but i don't know how to use it....it's not a regular setup file

eee 900 has 900Mhz Celeron Mobile and 901 has 1.6 intel atom processor. So 901 is better and faster...
