Ah, 3:39 ... aesthetic perfection! I really love this production, with the sisters running around behind the screen even as the men are singing their trio! Vaness, Mentzer, and Allen are pretty well perfect. I'm not so crazy about Hadley; his high notes are hollow and his coloratura labored.

Croft is great in this. Having a bass voice for gulielmo works to contrast ferrando so much better than a baritone (furlanetto did it amazingly too)

Yep, as an aspiring stage (hopefully opera!) director, I love the stage picture there. I hate productions that have them onstage (actually in the room) and somehow magically deaf to what the men are saying, but this is a nice alternative - they're just out the window!

This is a very good production - thank you for sharing it. (one minor complaint - why delete the applause? It adds to the atmospehere I think).

I hate the applause for me its a distraction from the drama and story. Specially for example..at the end of DG there should be silence not applause! A few moments to take a breath because I've been holding it for 5 mins! And then start the dove il perfido without applause in between!
