In the Eastern Christian tradition, icons play an important part in the proclamation of the gospel. In homes and in churches they are often near a night candle which flickers and varies the illumination with the movement of air in the room.

This video uses candle light to illuminate the icons and the words. It is an attempt to portray a sense of focused light surrounded by darkness, which can represent our Christian hopes surrounded by howling torments and doubts like the wind.

The Revelation passage can signify the protection that the Church and kinship with the Theotokos gives the believer and is not necessarily apocalyptic. It could represent any day in the Christian life.

  • is it possible Jesus was born with the "Essence" of God but is not himself a god? this makes sense! for how can a child be born of a God and then Be that very god himself? the Trinity will always confuse me! :)

  • Try thinking of how God as a Family, the Trinity, existing before the physical universe existed. This is not a perfect definition because God is also the dynamics between Father and Son, which ties in the Holy Spirit.

The Nativity breached the divide between the infinite (above) and the finite, which is creation stuck in time. This had to happen as an event in time. A Birth. So Jesus is both human and Divine.

  • @kalamation both don't mean 50% and 50%, but both in the same time.. 100§ Human 100% God, real man real God, Jesus in facts had talk about him self like son of God and son of man..

  • @Selvans100 Correct!

  • @acerb45666555 the Trinity is God, His Son(s) (the spirit of the peoples who love and follow him) and his manifested love for this humans.. trough the Holy spirit, the man that follow God, will go in his reign, and they will be togheter like father and son..the spirit that united all this 3 persons is always God, so the spirit is one and is God, God love himself in the others.

  • @sanantoniomimi This is false. Christ does not have a dual nature, but 1 nature that is both divine and human through a hypostatic union.

God did not create Christ, because if He created Christ, that would imply that He created Himself (because Christ is God) which is not logically possible (God could not have been created or else something would have had to have created Him). Christ was manifested in the flesh, but never created. The Holy Trinity exists eternally.

You know what made me believe in the Trinity? That it is impossible to explain it. I believe God is unexplainable so I believe God is triune.

  • But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. .... 34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” 35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[b] the Son of God

  • Omorfo bravo!!!.....very...very...i have no words to expres how it moves me!! Thank you my brother!!

  • @Pharaoh714 And therefore we call Mary....the mother off God. ..amin!

  • @acerb45666555 Think of God as an Eternal Fire, and Christ as a Candle that was lit from the Fire of God... (the body of the Candle is the human body of Jesus) and the Eternal Fire on the candle is God.. Thats why when the Body of Christ died He was resurrected because He is the Eternal Fire at the same time. We Call Christ God because He existed in God from the Beginning.. Christ is called the Word and the Wisdom of God because He is God in the Flesh.
